Rose and her Lamb Petal
These two Jacob sheep were rescued from slaughter, along with Tulip, and Ivy. This inseparable mother and lamb pair would have a much different life had we not saved them -- they wouldn't have had one at all.
These sweet, gentle sheep were headed to slaughter. Thankfully we were able to convince the owner to give them to us, so now with their bond stronger than ever, they will enjoy every day of their lives. Petal will experience all the joys of being a lamb: leaping, head-butting, running around and playing with the other lambs, and Rose will spend each day side by side with her baby, grazing, walking, sleeping and just being together, as it should be.
Please help us care for them. They will need veterinary care, grain, and hay.
